Summary
Braiq personalizes the ride experience in an autonomous vehicle.

Problem
An autonomous vehicle (AV) has advanced “artificial intelligence” (AI) but no “emotional intelligence” (EI). Will customers adopt those AVs if they drive differently from their preference and make them feel uneasy?

Solution
Braiq has a unique technology platform that enables the AV to “look inward” and sense the cognitive and emotional state of the passenger(s) through in-cabin sensors (e.g. camera, EEG, heart-rate monitor). That data is used to tailor the car’s driving behavior to match user preferences, increasing user comfort and trust in AVs.

Team
We are a multidisciplinary team with pedigrees in neuroscience, computer science, electrical engineering, and biomedical engineering. We have deep R&D expertise in human-machine interaction, brain-computer interfaces and a history of working on advanced R&D projects for agencies such as DARPA and ARL.
