Braid is a platform that lets teams collaborate and communicate better by leveraging the tools they already use. 41% of knowledge workers' time at work is spent on coordination tasks. While collaboration software is a $50 billion dollar a year market, existing tools were designed for software development, not the needs of the other 98% of organizations.

With Braid, project and team information gets updated in real time with all the information - not incomplete and after the fact. We've started with Gmail, Google Calendar, and Slack, but Braid is built to be a connective tissue inside all the tools that knowledge workers already use. This means better and more timely data without double-entry or copy and paste. Having richer, contextual data gives us a corpus to do really interesting things.

We have a Chrome extension and Slack bot, and want to expand to all tools and platforms to transform and streamline 21st century work.
