Blumio is developing a way to measure blood pressure continuously, without the use of an inflatable cuff.

Today, most of our knowledge on blood pressure is based on data collected with a sphygmomanometer on the upper arm, while at rest. We know that BP is different throughout the body and changes based on what we're doing. However, there simply isn't a device to deliver continuous measurement of blood pressure regardless of and without disrupting the activity a person is doing.

We're solving this problem by developing a sensor that uses radar technology to measure blood pressure. Blumio will be the first blood pressure sensor on the market that people will want to have with them at all times, providing an ultra convenient way for people to accurately measure and track their blood pressure as they undergo their daily activities.
