Bloomio offers a novel way to raise capital for entrepreneurs by tokenizing equity. Bloomio connects early stage startups with individual investors and venture funds. The platform not only allows startup founders to raise money, but also provides online trading through a blockchain-based marketplace.

Traditional investors mainly focus on larger deals of more than $100K, leaving small room for individuals to enter the early stage startup market. Our vision is to disrupt the traditional fund-raising model for startups by enabling individual investors to tap into the venture capital arena with a small ticket size of just around 100 dollars. 

To enter the platform, startups must either undergo a scoring process by 3rd party analysts or make specific disclosures so as to provide enough information to potential investors. Bloomio enables an effective way to raise money with a unique feature for investors to exit at any time through online trading of tokens, representing startup shares.
