BMS has been working with Biodex as a strategic treadmill provider to deliver an integrated music service that notably reduces rehabilitation time to improve gait and prevent falling. The BMS solution targets multi-site providers, then extend to municipalities and consumers (IoT wearables) through a three-tiered service ranging from sensor-based biofeedback to gait training (with telehealth support) to Active Mobility (anywhere, anytime).
BMS has codified decades of research and clinical expertise into an algorithmic music platform that enables treatments to be precisely customized based on each consumer’s neurological/physical conditions. The AI-based platform will use a proprietary algorithm to apply personalized music parameters (e.g. tempos) to retrain the brain through iterative biofeedback. The platform will enable aggregated data flow and data analytics, from all sources (e.g., wearables) to improve biomedical music outcomes over time and across various neurological conditions.
