A very limited set of companies are pursuing this, as most diagnostic tools focus on single/multi-use testing, such as genomic sequencing, blood/lab work, etc., and do not act as digital health platforms that take in and normalize significant amounts of data. There has been significant growth in wearables data, but nobody is combining it with healthcare providers' EMRs to put everything in one place, much less make an effort to provide diagnostic or prognostic conclusions to patients or physicians. Actually impacting patient lives requires extrapolating useful conclusions from these sets of data, rather than just aggregating them. As such, BioGenesis Tech aims to be a digital health platform operating at the intersection of data science and preventative medicine.
