BetterButter.in is a social discovery platform for recipes! We recently launched and have concluded our seed round fundraise from leading investors. On BetterButter you can explore recipes put up by other users and also from well known chefs and famous bloggers. You can share your own recipes too! Users get likes, comments and shares on their recipes, and can participate in contests. In the future we'll be introducing some cool new features too :) How did we come up with this idea? While cooking at home, we realized there is no one stop shop to find all the recipes made in Indian homes - even though there is so much variety. Most recipe sites in India were made some time ago (some of them over 10 years ago). Most of the traffic goes to blogs, facebook groups and youtube. We want to build an awesome mobile experience for recipes. We believe there is a big opportunity to build a large recipe platform in India with potentially 20-30 million monthly visits. In China, the largest recipe platform has seen over 75 million downloads of its app! In the US, the top five sites have over 80 million montly visitors!
