BBC Maestro careers
BBC Maestro is a venture funded start-up, working in close collaboration with BBC Studios. Our mission is to enable people to discover and hone their passions with inspiration from the most credible talent in the world.
We offer educational and inspirational video courses taught by the world’s most experienced creators, each one a Maestro in their field, including: Mark Ronson, Edgar Wright, Julia Donaldson, Alan Moore, Marco Pierre-White, Gary Barlow, Jed Mercurio, and many more.
Following a successful 24 months and Series A funding in Summer 22, we are now aiming to sustainably grow both our product offering and our people capabilities.
We are hiring across marketing, creative studio, design and tech.
Reasons to join BBC Maestro
We are a creatively driven company, where everyone has a voice and can contribute to the future of the business.
We are remote-first and support flexible working.
We are building a platform that helps thousands of people worldwide to develop their skills.
We are a learning company. We strive to be better and continuously look to improve our processes and team happiness.
We work in an agile way, and constantly adapt with new learnings (as developers we ship multiple times daily)
We are experimental. We enjoy testing new concepts to uncover value, whether that is new code or new campaigns. We want to focus on meaningful features over fire-fighting and use data to guide us.
We share our knowledge with each other with bi-weekly all hands meetings, internal tech talks and demos. We also like to meet up semi regularly in various WeWorks around London and a co-work space in Bristol.
