Jack Hume founded Basic American Foods in 1933 with the belief that integrity and taste were paramount, and it’s these same beliefs that drive us today. While we started as a modest dehydration plant in California, we’ve grown our company and our capabilities over the last 85 years becoming the market leader, because we want to help people serve great food to as many people as possible.
