Working at BALO feels a lot like building something meaningful with people who actually care about what they’re creating and who they’re creating it with. What I appreciate most is that this isn’t a place where you’re expected to have all the answers. It’s a place where you’re trusted to figure things out, speak up, and shape what this becomes. That level of trust is rare, especially this early on. There’s a real openness here. Ideas don’t get buried under layers or hierarchy. If something makes sense, it’s considered. If something doesn’t, you can talk it through without it turning into a whole thing. That kind of environment makes it easier to do good work and actually enjoy doing it. The team is thoughtful in a way that doesn’t feel forced. People show up, they do what they say they’re going to do, and they respect each other’s time and energy.
