Registered in 2012, Balloon Ventures is a social enterprise that provides training and investment to micro entrepreneurs in emerging markets. We currently operate in Kenya, Ghana, Uganda and the Philippines and deliver programmes primarily through volunteering. Since creation, we have invested over £100,000 in micro-enterprises and offered over 160,000 hours of face to face support. Balloon Ventures has grown rapidly and we currently have 19 full time members of staff across the world. This is a very exciting time to join the organisation as we expand to new regions, pilot new programmes and create more positive impact globally. For new members of the team there are opportunities to travel, take ownership of new projects and have a massive impact on the future growth of the organisation.
