Avi.AI is a venture backed, Data intelligence and AI are only starting to surface in the baggage pillar of the aviation software industry. Most applications are built on hardware-based tracking (e.g. RFID chips), while Avi.AI enables smarter decisions through software intelligence. We believe passengers should "Never Lose a Bag Again". Having baggage mishandling is terrible; it should not have happened in the first place. Thus, what makes us different is we "predict and prevent" mishandling, so the passenger gets their bag as usual. There are many reasons why baggage can be lost or mishandled during an airline itinerary. A storm delays a flight. The arriving plane can’t deplane while another plane is still loading passengers. A passenger misses their connection. Avi.AI takes these “factors” - there can be THOUSANDS of them - and feeds them into our proprietary machine learning models, which then provide a likelihood that a unique passenger's bag will be mishandled. The platform then selects the most optimal prevent strategy for ground handlers, and the notification gets relayed within an intuitive, easy-to-use user interface (UI). Every day we excitedly tackle a problem in aviation that has not been solved before. We know it hasn't been solved, because our airline partners - Fortune 200 companies with a combined market cap over $40B - have partnered up, for us to solve this problem for them. We are swinging for the fences to enact a bold vision that solves an inter-generational problem. Every year, millions of bags are mishandled. Those are lives we want to positively, directly impact. We know we are on the cusp of something incredible, and we want the best and brightest to bring our idea to the world as fast as constructively possible!
