Authenteq is an automatic identity verification & privacy management platform that verifies people's real identity & issues a certificate of authenticity that can be used across multiple online services.
The user decides what information is shared with the online service. Authenteq therefor eliminates anonymity while allowing for privacy, leading to more responsible behaviour, increased trust and transparency in transactions.
Our tamperproof mobile app is used to take a picture of the user, then a picture of her issued ID (passport or driver's licence). Using sophisticated facial recognition algorithms we determine if it's the same person. We add a number of security checks to make sure the process hasn't been hacked. If everything checks out, we issue the user an Authenteq ID she can use when on online marketplaces.
