Astrean launched in 2019 with a $25,000 Ideadvance Lean Startup grant to disrupt and modernize the notarization industry.

Notarizations are a key requirement in our legal, business and government economies, but it has remained largely unchanged, antiquated and inefficient for nearly two centuries -- even as 4.4 million U.S. notaries now perform 1.5 billion notarizations per year.

Astrean is launching the first comprehensive digital suite for licensed notaries, featuring a remote online notarization (RON) SaaS app and a global "Uber for Notaries" marketplace. Aided by the social distancing requirements of COVID-19, our solution is ideally positioned to modernize and expand notarization today.

Astrean is transforming the traditional notary industry with digital tools to empower notaries and signing agents -- as well as new ecosystems to transform notarization, signing and document certification as we know it.
