Asili is an emerging niche athleisure inspired by more sustainable designs in athleisure and sportswear using innovation as a means to reduce waste and retain quality. Asili is looking to add a strategic co-founder as well as technical and sportswear designers to join our exciting team at this critical stage of our design process. After a strategic collaboration with LCF graduate students who served as consultants focusing on entrepreneurship and design management (including a former Adidas and Lululemon employee) we're past our initial planning stages with design sketches and sourcing fabric guide and identified manufacturers. ____________________________ Key objective and brand forecast include: - Finalize prototypes and tech pack designs to distribute sample collection at trunk and trade shows & raise capital to finish manufacturing for upcoming seasons. - Launch online e-commerce store, and expand to pop-up and brick & morter shops and boutiques in New York / London. - Drive marketing and social media engagement to become commercially viable and well positioned sustainable sportswear label. _______________________________ We're currently in the process of prototyping various iterations of the designs for a your size your fit design range to reflect the diverse beauty of our multicultural muses. After market research and validation we discovered that our niche muses in the urban oasis not only have a focus on health and wellness, but an increasing desire for sustainable consumption and different sizing which respectively rose over 5% in 2015 according to Euromonitor and Nielson.
