ArgyleDNA is a transparent marketplace platform intended to provide finger-tip access to a diverse, consolidated database of genetic sequence data. Further, we empower donors through ongoing consent control and compensation for usage of their data. Essentially, Argyle acts as a licensing service for sequence data; licensing data to interested parties for a fee (per sample) and passing a portion of the revenue on to its sample donors. The intention of Argyle is two-fold, to shift the control and value of data governance toward the source of data generation (the donors), and to begin addressing the gaps in demographic representation that exist across databases in the industry.
