1. WHO ARE WE? We are AppSell, a tech start-up developing an innovative and revolutionary technology to support the Direct Selling Industry - the original 'sharing economy'. This industry repreents a significant portion of total retail sales in the Philippines, but the technology available to Reselling Agents and Branded companies lags significantly behind their e-Commerce enabled competitors. This is our exciting and very commercially viable white space! 2. HOW FAR HAVE WE COME ALREADY? We have researched and designed the technology required to solve the challenges that face both Reselling Agents and Direct Selling companies. We have developed our prototype and we have confirmed pre-orders from one Direct Selling company. We are continuing to market our product and confident we will sign our second client soon! 3. WHO's ON THE TEAM? We already have a CEO, COO and CMO, but we have been using an agency to develop the MVP of the app product. Now we need a talented and ambitious Lead Developer to help us transition the technology in-house and lead the continuous innovation process. 4. WHY YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS ROLE! i. Because we are an awesome team to work with - we have tons of experience but we're still opportunistic, we're considered and strategic but full of energy to make AppSell a success. We're also highly philanthropic, and will be on the look out for ways that AppSell's tech can serve the community whenever possible. ii. Because you'll be THE lead developer, the first techy on the ground with the potential to cement your CTO and co-founder status, establish your own development frameworks and build your own team! iii. Because when the company grows your salary will grow. FAST. We believe we can scale this product quickly and the lean operating model we have designed will minimize costs and allow us to reward and develop our people to keep them at AppSell.
