Responsibilities: 1.Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic 2.Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code 3.Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications 4.Implementation of security and data protection 5.Integration of data storage solutions like MongoDB, AWS RDS, Dynamo DB etc. Qualifications and Experience: 1.Strong proficiency with JavaScript 2.Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available 3.Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds 4.Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3 5.Understanding accessibility and security compliance 6.User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments 7.Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system 8.Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application 9.Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform 10.Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes 11.Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests 12.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git 13.Understanding of Serverless architecture is a plus
