I pursued a career in healthcare because I wanted to do impactful work, and drug discovery is a field where one can legitimately say that success saves lives. We desperately need more medicines and we need to find them fast. I think that combining computers and lab experiments the right way can create a virtuous cycle where each can feed back into one another and make the drug discovery process as robust as we all need it to be.
