Our vision at Altus Assessments is to create a world served by exceptional professionals. We do this by empowering decision-making about future professionals based on research and data-driven insights.

CASPer is an online test used by admissions teams to select applicants holistically by assessing their people skills that are critical for professional success. It uses video-based scenarios, timed questions, and open text responses to assess an applicant’s people skills.

The CASPer test was developed originally at McMaster University, by Harold Reiter, MD MEd (co-creator of the MMI Interview) and Kelly Dore, PhD. Now our partners include over 200 academic programs. This year, Altus Assessments is set to deliver CASPer to over 100,000 applicants worldwide with more test dates than ever before.
