Allo is committed to rebuilding a sense of community and support for families living in urban settings. At Allo, we believe that by building a more trustworthy, neighborhood-based social network, we can better enable meaningful offline connections and support between folks living near one another. This is of particular importance for families and the elderly living in cities. Children (and their parents) benefit from being raised in strong communities; however, it is becoming increasingly difficult to foster such an environment in our ever-fragmented offline lives, despite our ever-connected online networks. We aim to change that by facilitating more interaction-oriented connections between neighboring families and their local community. After all, it takes a village.
