Alchemy is a fractional collective, not a staffing agency and not a management consultancy in the old mould. We exist because two things are true at once: senior technology and AI leadership is in more demand than ever, and fewer people want the traditional full-time employment relationship attached to delivering it.

Founded by David Viney, a Fractional CIO and AI Transformation Director with 30+ years leading technology at WPP, Heathrow Airport, BSI, Arup and the BBC, Alchemy takes on established fractional-consulting incumbents directly, with a leaner, sharper model built for how this kind of work should actually operate.

The hard problem we're solving is matching: clients need proven, board-ready technology leadership without the cost and rigidity of a permanent hire, and senior fractional professionals need a trusted network bringing them real engagements, rather than competing alone for scraps of visibility. We're building that bridge deliberately, one relationship at a time.

Early stage, growing steadily, and already ranking prominently across major search engines and LLMs for "Fractional CIO London." Right now, the priority is forming the right connections ahead of the point where capacity becomes the real constraint.
