AeroFT - Aerospace Future Technologies:
Our solution to the world is a high endurance drone package, which will focus on detecting, monitoring and assisting with the cleanup of solid, liquid and gaseous pollutants in the world's oceans, lakes and waterways.
For scientific research and cleanup applications - we are aiming to offer reduced costs by prioritising system hiring for live data streaming services, in the form of live video, data cards and remote flight planning. This service will allow researchers and cleanup services to create their own targeted flight plans, obtain data and never have to worry about flying their own drones. AeroFT will also aim to conduct its own flights to map the current "water pollution" status around the UK and Europe.
The drone product has two variants - the primary, which is hydrogen powered and the secondary, which is gasoline powered.
The former is evaluated to be the leading hydrogen powered system for less than competitive development costs and can fly for 18-24 hours depending on payload capacity. The latter, is evaluated to be able to stay aloft for close to 2 days, continuously at 3x reduced operating cost to the hydrogen system. It will be primarily used for medical supply delivery, to developing countries, who cannot afford to run hydrogen power or where extracted hydrogen is not easily accessible.
Our strategy includes both variants to be able to gain near term traction with various markets, as well as staying at the forefront in clean fuel technology development, for the aviation industry and beyond.
***The company, is still in startup development phase, with all founders working in addition to full time careers. The aim is to obtain angel investment and or/government grants, to be able to take this company to full time development, production and flight operations. Small amounts of funds have been secured for equipment testing and research on a smaller scale drone.***
