• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes, methods, tooling, equipment, and controls under the guidance of senior engineers
• Support analysis and planning of labor utilization, equipment requirements, workflow, and manufacturing layouts to improve efficiency

• Own automation system performance and conduct daily optimization of automated cells to improve cycle time, throughput, quality, and equipment uptime.
• Develop, modify, test, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, robot, vision, motion-control, safety, and supporting automation programs.

• Define, maintain, and enforce plant automation standards, design specifications, controls architecture, documentation requirements, and risk-mitigation protocols.
• Review and approve automation concepts, detailed designs, software architectures, safety solutions, modifications, and production launches.

• Maintain an up-to-date reference to track SMRR, RMA, PPM, & SCB and other proposed product revisions.
