Action For India’s mission is to help social innovators in India overcome barriers to scale and achieve greater impact at the Bottom of the Pyramid. Launched in 2012, AFI is headquartered in New Delhi,India and has a chapter in Silicon Valley, California. Over the last 6 years we have connected more than 600 Social Entrepreneurs (SEs) with impact investors, mentors, technology resources, government contacts, and local partners. We engage the ecosystem through the following initiatives: AFI Annual Forum: assembles 100 leading social entrepreneurs of India from around the country and connects them with 100 “influencers”. AFI Silicon Valley Challenge Trek: we fly in 5 leading social entrepreneurs from India to Silicon Valley for 2 weeks and facilitate interactions for them with leading investors, entrepreneurs and executives. AFI Social Entrepreneur Advisory Service (SEAS): a new initiative to work with 100 social entrepreneurs continuously, year-round and connect them with resources for their scaling journeys.
