Action For India's mission is to help social innovators in India overcome barriers to scale and achieve greater impact at the bottom of the pyramid.
Initiatives:
AFI Annual Forum: assembles 100 leading social entrepreneurs of India from around the country and connects them with 100 “influencers”.
AFI Silicon Valley Challenge Trek: we fly in 5 leading social entrepreneurs from India to Silicon Valley for 2 weeks and facilitate interactions for them with leading investors, entrepreneurs and executives.
AFI Social Entrepreneur Advisory Service (SEAS): a new initiative to work with 100 social entrepreneurs continuously, year-round and connect them with resources for their scaling journeys.
AFI Angel Impact Investment Network (AIIN): an initiative to facilitate equity investments into early stage, for-profit social enterprises in India.
AFI Impact fund : is being established to address the need for capital in the key areas of agriculture, healthcare and financial inclusion.
