Accelerate Wind careers

We are developing a new rooftop wind energy solution. Our design is based on two inventions. First, we take advantage of the fact that wind speeds at the edges of roofs are faster than other parts of the roof. We harness this faster wind speed for more economical power generation. Second, we use mechanical energy storage to store energy during high wind speeds, allowing us to reduce the size and cost of the generator and inverter, two of the most expensive components in rooftop wind. The energy solution is designed for commercial building roofs to supplement, not replace solar power, as the majority of commercial buildings today cannot produce 100% of their energy needs with solar alone.

We're currently in the prototyping phase and hope to have pilot projects established soon.
