314 Action is a new, dynamic startup organization dedicated to scientific advocacy as well as recruiting, training and electing candidates with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) backgrounds to all levels of public office. Founded a little over a year ago, 314 Action has a nationwide membership of over 400,000 scientists and pro-stem advocates, has raised nearly $2 million and has over 70 college campus chapters. 314 Action has recently been featured by many news outlets including the Atlantic, the Washington Post and CNN. 314 Action was called the "EMILYs List for scientists" by Roll Call.
