About the job

At Cubby, we're building the future of self-storage operators.

More than 70,000 self-storage properties across North America serve the 10%+ of Americans who need storage during major life transitions. These 35,000+ independent operators who run them are under tremendous pressure: self-storage has become the fastest-growing commercial real estate asset class, surpassing $50 billion annually in the U.S., and institutional capital is flooding in. If you want to equip this industry with best-in-class technology and help operators compete at the highest level, Cubby offers a rare opportunity.

Cubby serves over 400 operators with 500k+ units under management. We recently raised $63 million from Goldman Sachs Growth Equity and are backed by phenomenal investors. We serve clients from $10k to $1mm+ ACV and ship new features weekly. We're looking for a Scale Implementation Manager to lead our SMB segment — designing and running a high-velocity implementation motion that gets thousands of independent operators live on Cubby fast, without sacrificing the quality of the experience.

We’re a small, high-velocity team that punches way above its weight. If you want to build something meaningful at a company where your work is felt immediately, this is the role.

The Role
This is not your traditional RevOps role. We’re not hiring someone to police CRM hygiene and build dashboards nobody looks at. We’re hiring someone to fundamentally rethink how a modern go-to-market team operates — with AI at the center of everything.

You’ll own the efficiency and effectiveness of our entire GTM engine — Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. That means pipeline visibility, yes. But it also means thinking much bigger: How do we understand our total addressable market? How many of those 30,000+ accounts are we actually reaching? Where are deals stalling and why? What happens after the sale — through implementation, adoption, and upsell? You’ll think about the full lifecycle from first contact to long-term customer value.

Here’s what makes this role different: we believe AI should be doing the work that used to fall on sales reps and CS managers. Claude listens to the latest call and updates the CRM. AI identifies which accounts are going cold before a human notices. The tech stack doesn’t just report on what happened — it acts. Your job is to architect that reality. We want our sales team spending their time selling, our CS team spending their time with customers, and the systems doing everything else.

You’ll sit at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, and RevOps — a trifecta that operates as one GTM org by design. You’ll extend into Customer Success and other functions whenever it makes us run smoother. The through-line is simple: find the friction, eliminate it, and make everyone around you faster and smarter.

We’re built on HubSpot with a modern AI stack, and we expect this person to continuously evaluate and onboard new tools that push us forward. If there’s a better way to do something, find it and ship it.

What you'll own

  • GTM Infrastructure & Systems: Own HubSpot and the surrounding tool ecosystem. But don’t just maintain it — reimagine it. Build workflows where AI handles data entry, call logging, deal updates, and follow-up scheduling so that reps and CS managers spend their time on people, not on fields.
  • Pipeline Visibility & Analytics: Give Sales and Marketing leadership a clear, real-time view of the pipeline — not just what’s in it, but what’s moving, what’s stuck, and what’s missing. Build the reporting and dashboards that drive weekly decisions, not quarterly slide decks.
  • Market Intelligence & TAM Analysis: Think upstream. Map our total addressable market, track market penetration, and measure how many accounts we’re actually connecting with versus how many we should be. Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure we’re organized around who we’re talking to, when, and why.
  • Full-Lifecycle Optimization: Don’t stop at closed-won. Own visibility and process from first outbound touch through implementation, adoption, renewal, and upsell. Work with Customer Success to ensure the post-sale experience is just as instrumented and efficient as the pre-sale motion.
  • AI-First Process Design: This is the big one. Rethink every RevOps process through the lens of what AI can do today. Claude should be updating deal fields after calls. AI should be flagging at-risk accounts. Enrichment should be automated. Your north star is a GTM team that spends almost zero time on administrative work.
  • Tool Evaluation & Stack Innovation: Continuously scout, evaluate, and onboard new tools that increase our speed and success rate. You’re the person who knows what’s out there, what’s worth trying, and how to integrate it without creating sprawl.

What we're looking for:

  • Deep RevOps experience with HubSpot — you’ve built and owned the CRM, not just reported out of it. You understand objects, workflows, integrations, and data architecture at a hands-on level.
  • A genuine obsession with AI and automation. You’re already using Claude, GPT, or similar tools to rethink how work gets done. You don’t need to be convinced that AI changes RevOps — you’re impatient that it hasn’t changed it faster.
  • Strategic thinking paired with a builder’s mentality. You can see the big picture — TAM, market penetration, lifecycle metrics — and you can also get into HubSpot and wire it up yourself. This is an IC role with a director’s purview.
  • Experience instrumenting the full customer lifecycle, not just the sales funnel. You’ve thought about what happens after the deal closes and how to measure success through implementation, adoption, and expansion.
  • Strong cross-functional instincts. You’ll work across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success daily. You see yourself as the connective tissue that makes the whole GTM org run, not a back-office function.
  • An eye for great tools. You follow the AI and SaaS landscape, you know what’s emerging, and you have a track record of finding and implementing tools that meaningfully improve how a team operates.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and speed. This is a build-stage company. Processes will be incomplete, data won’t be perfect, and priorities will shift. You thrive in that environment rather than waiting for it to stabilize.

Why Cubby:

  • Rocketship trajectory: 4,050% ARR growth in 2024 with a product customers genuinely love.
  • Massive white space: 30,000+ facilities running on decades-old software or spreadsheets.
  • Real executive partnership: You’ll sit at the table with the CEO and Sales leadership, not in a silo.
  • Backed by Goldman Sachs with the resources to invest in growth.
  • AI-first culture: You won’t have to convince anyone here that AI should be central to how we work. The question isn’t whether to use it — it’s how fast we can go.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Equity in a high-growth company backed by Goldman Sachs.
  • 401k and top-tier health, vision, and dental insurance.
  • Hybrid in office (3 days/week) in Flatiron.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • In-person work culture (3x per week) with lunches provided.
  • Luxury gym membership.
  • The opportunity to define how a modern, AI-native GTM org operates from the ground up.

How to apply
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Send a note about why you’re excited about this role and how you’d approach building an AI-first RevOps function in your first 90 days.

Cubby is committed to promoting equality, inclusion, and diversity and that's already represented on our team. We're an equal-opportunity employer of the brightest minds we can find — regardless of race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, or identity.
