Account Executive

The Role in One Sentence
You will be the person who walks into a barbershop, a restaurant, a plumbing company, or a rideshare driver’s world and hands them something they’ve never had: affordable, AI-powered access to primary healthcare at affordable rates.
ABOUT ORIGO HEALTH
Origo Health is a mobile-first healthcare subscription platform on a mission to make primary care accessible to every American — regardless of whether they have health insurance.
A subscriber gets access to a credentialed primary care provider, 400+ AI-powered health monitoring agents, and a coordinated care team. No per-visit fees. Cancel anytime.
We are not a startup with an idea. We have spent 14 years deploying healthcare technology across 8 countries, serving 600,000+ patients on three continents. Now we are bringing that platform to the 100 million Americans who don’t have a primary care provider and the 27 million who are completely uninsured.
WHO YOU’LL SELL TO
Your territory is the backbone of the American economy: the people and businesses that keep communities running but are routinely left behind by the traditional healthcare system.
● Gig Workers
● Freelancers
● Restaurants
● Salons & Spas
● Barbershops
● Childcare
● Electricians
● Plumbers
● HVAC Techs
● Musicians
● Motels
● Small Car Dealers
● Any Business Under 25 Employees
These are owners and workers who pay full price for urgent care, skip routine checkups, and manage chronic conditions without a doctor. Many of them have never had a primary care provider. Your job is to change that — one conversation, one business, one community at a time.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Primary Responsibilities
• Own your territory: build a pipeline of small business owners, employers, and individual gig workers through street-level networking, cold outreach, referrals, and community relationships.
• Walk in the door: this role rewards face-to-face relationship builders. Show up at barbershops, job sites, restaurant back-of-house, and industry meetups.
• Present and demo: deliver compelling, plain-language walkthroughs of the Origo Health platform — showing prospective subscribers exactly what they get for $50 a month.
• Close individual and group enrollments: convert individual workers and employer-sponsored group accounts. A restaurant owner enrolling their whole staff is a win. A rideshare driver signing up their family is a win.
• Manage the full sales cycle: from first contact to signed subscriber — qualifying, quoting, demoing, overcoming objections, and onboarding.
• Build employer wellness partnerships: engage small business owners as group enrollment partners who offer Origo Health as a low-cost employee benefit.
• Report and track: maintain accurate pipeline records in CRM, report activity and subscriber conversion weekly, and flag market intelligence about what objections and pricing questions you are hearing in the field.
• Represent the mission: you are not just selling a subscription. You are telling people in underserved communities that there is now a real option. That matters. Show up that way.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must Have
• 3+ years of B2C or B2B sales experience, ideally selling subscription-based services, benefits, or services to small businesses or individuals
• Proven ability to self-generate pipeline — you don’t wait for leads, you go find them
• Comfortable walking into unfamiliar environments and starting conversations with strangers
• Strong communicator: you can explain a healthcare subscription to a plumber and a staffing company HR manager in the same afternoon
• Disciplined pipeline and CRM management
• Passion for serving communities that the healthcare system has overlooked
Strong Pluses
• Experience selling health, wellness, or benefits products to small businesses or uninsured populations
• Existing relationships in gig economy, trades, service industry, or small business owner communities
• Familiarity with Direct Primary Care or subscription health models
• Bilingual (Spanish, French, or other languages spoken in target communities)
• Experience with community-based sales in underserved or minority communities
• Comfort with mobile technology demonstrations
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. We will take demonstrated sales results over a degree every time. If you have a track record of closing deals in communities that matter to us, we want to hear from you.
COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE
This is a high-earning opportunity for someone willing to do the work.
• This is an uncapped commission role that pays on every subscriber you enroll and every group account you close
• Commission structure rewards both individual subscriber enrollments and employer group accounts — a business owner enrolling 10 employees pays out as a group win
• Benefits eligibility after initial quota requirements are met
• Performance bonuses for hitting quarterly subscriber milestones
LOCATION & TERRITORY
Initial territories are focused on the Mid-Atlantic region (Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C.) with expansion nationally as the platform scales. Candidates must be based in or willing to work within their assigned territory — this role requires in-person community presence.
Remote candidates with demonstrated ties to target communities and a track record of self-directed field sales will also be considered.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
Most sales jobs ask you to sell something people don’t need. This one asks you to sell something people genuinely cannot live without — to people who have genuinely never had it.
The barber who has been managing his blood pressure without a doctor for six years. The restaurant owner whose staff hasn’t had a physical in a decade. The rideshare driver who hasn’t been to a doctor since she lost her job and her insurance with it. These are real people. This is a real solution.
When you close a deal at Origo Health, somebody gets a doctor.
