We are looking for an innovative and creative video editor to join our team. The perfect person for this job is someone who is skilled in the craft of film-making and understands all of the components of video production, including sound, music, visuals and point of view.
he/she would be responsible for piecing together raw footage from the videographer / cinematographer to create a unique and exciting story.
Responsibilities
Establish a clear understanding of the story-line and purpose of the video's creation
Splice raw film footage together from various sources and shoots, and combine it with other scenes to create a cohesive story
Evaluate edited footage to make sure it matches the story from the script and meets the narrative agenda of the producer and director of the film
Use editing software programs like Premiere Pro, digital video effects and other tools to piece together film components
Ensure all editing cuts, splices, changes and additions appear seamless and natural and help the story flow more effectively in the finished product
Add motion graphics, typography animation, effects, lower third and create engaging promos, openers in After effects.
Requirements
Creative and Innovative thinker
Good time-management skills
Proficient in Premiere Pro, Adobe After effects
Solid attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to life
Experience
work: 1 year (Preferred)
Video Editing / Production: 1 year
*Ability to shoot on DSLRs will be a plus. *
For shoot
- Be skilled in taking videos and photos using a DSLR camera 2 assist on shoot in studio and at client locations
- Might be required to travel with crew for shoot
