Investment Analyst

Dexter Angels is looking for an Investment Analyst to join the investment team. The ideal candidate should have understanding of venture capital and passion for startup ecosystem in India.

Key responsibilities

• As part of investment team identify new investment opportunities
• Support the investment team to build an exclusive network of investors
• Execute the process of investments in selected opportunities : due-diligence, running the deal with network of investors, documentation closure
• Work with portfolio companies to help them in their growth journey
• Support building the Dexter Angels brand by ideating and executing on conducting events and representing Dexter in external events

*Key Skills *

• Deep interest in venture capital ecosystem is required for this role. Working in Venture Capital industry requires one to deal with ambiguity and data scarcity, thus only a deep interest would help one thrive in this industry
• Outstanding Interpersonal skills, with an ability to converse with investors and entrepreneurs and build a strong network
• Ability to mine data and do primary and secondary research on business models. Keen interest in reading about business and management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to present your arguments in a crisp and clear fashion
• A motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset
• An experience of 0-3 years in venture capital or investment banking is a plus. Good network in the entrepreneurial ecosystem will be useful
• Masters is preferred
