Web UI Developer, 2-4 yrs exp, part-time

Your responsibilities

Collaborate with our lead designer, product owner, and back-end team to develop responsive web pages with React, matching Figma screens as closely as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: If you're a full-stack developer, that's great, but this job needs strong front-end UI skills, NOT back-end.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in developing web front-ends, so atleast 1 year of experience is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of or (most preferably) hands-on experience in developing semantic HTML5 pages, CSS3, Bootstrap 4, JavaScript, React, MVVM (preferably) or MVC patterns, and consuming REST APIs with JSON data.
• Thoughtful and quick communicator — keeping the team updated with progress/roadblocks is quintessential.
• Perform at least unit and functional testing of your code to identify and fix bugs.
• Generate documentation as you code.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or other cloud technologies.
• Understanding of SEO.
• Familiarity with BEM or other naming and coding conventions.
• Experience with startups or freelancing.
• Willingness to learn new skills or adapt according to business requirements and take complete ownership of your domain and work.
• Experience with Git or any other code versioning tool.
• Some knowledge of back-end technologies, preferably: PHP, MySQL, Node.js, and GraphQL.
