Intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on both hardware and software
2. Working with sensors
3. Collecting the real-time data from the sensors and Tx it over the cloud
4. Building applications on top of big data like insights, alarms, etc., in a real-time manner

We appreciate the experience but the candidate shall be motivated and eager to learn.

Other requirements:

• Masters student in electronic/computer science/IT/Embedded or in a similar domain.
• Good understanding and knowledge about PLC and electronics, PCB design.
• Have worked with Raspberry- PI and/ or Arduino board.
• Programming experience with any of the Node.js/NodeRed/Python/ C/ C++.
• Good understanding of current trends in the Industrial loT domain and IoT echo system.
• Experience with building IoT solutions for automation.
• Experience with data acquisition protocols like MQTT, XMPP, CoAP, HTTP, WebSocket.
• Experience with acquiring field data through industrial gateway devices.
• Experience with time-series database to store and process a large volume of sensor data.
• Knowledge about various IoT platforms like thing work, predix, AWS IoT.
