The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping the product direction and will be actively involved in defining key product features that impact the business. You will work with Principal Engineers to evolve the design and architecture of the products owned by this team. You will be responsible to set up and hold a high software quality bar besides providing technical direction to a highly technical team of Software Engineers.

The Engineering Manager is focused on the delivery of critical capabilities to customers. The functional goal is software delivery, retention, people management, stakeholder management. In this role, you will use your background in software delivery, program management and project management moving them from concept to implementation.
You will roughly spend 60-80% time in engineering and product, and 20-40% time in people management and coaching depending on team size. You will need to acquire contextual breadth and depth in your product domain and manage stakeholders' expectations.
