Product Owner - Web Applications

Your mission: improve our suite of internal tools to better meet the requirements of a growing organization


You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery from business idea to roll-out. Working collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, HR etc), you will gather requirements, and translate these requirements into technical specifications. In addition, you will manage a small team of programmers, you will ensure that the team delivers against key objectives.


Further, you will act as the go-to-person for internal stakeholders seeking support on existing processes. You will have to guide them through the change management process, and ensure that all business functions follow established best practices.

Tasks and responsibilities

Work collaboratively with other business functions to identify gaps and potential process improvements
Align process changes with tool updates, and coordinate all development efforts into a coherent product roadmap
Produce technical specifications and support the development team during the entire product lifecycle
Monitor data quality and support other functions with business intelligence reports


Your profile

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience building/shipping technical products
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience in understanding clients needs and translating them into effective tools, systems and solutions
Ability to quickly understand business processes and data analysis needs
Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
Ability to document requirements and specifications in clear language
Advanced oral and written command of English
Knowledge of Relational Databases; knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP is a plus
National or holder of a valid work permit
