Senior Full-Stack Engineer / Delivery Lead

Dreamers Inc. is a research and software consultancy built around high performance with low stress. We like working on interesting things, learning from each other, and teaching each other. Sometimes that means self-driving tractors, satellite boards, natural language processing engines, quantum computing, physical robotics, or government systems that need to work correctly for real people. Other times it means web and mobile apps, and those can be pretty cool, too.

We are looking for senior full-stack engineers who can own meaningful parts of a project, not simply complete tickets handed down by someone else.

The right person can enter a complicated environment, understand the users and constraints, make sensible architectural decisions, write clear code, and carry a feature or system through testing and deployment. You should be comfortable asking questions when requirements are incomplete and explaining technical tradeoffs to people who do not live inside an IDE.

Relevant experience may include:

• React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture
• Node.js, Python, PHP/Laravel, or comparable backend systems
• PostgreSQL, APIs, integrations, authentication, and data workflows
• AWS, Azure, or other production cloud environments
• Accessible and secure application development
• CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and production ownership
• Government, healthcare, transportation, education, or other regulated systems

We care more about evidence than buzzwords. Shipped systems, thoughtful architecture, readable code, intelligent testing, and an honest explanation of what you personally built matter considerably more than a long technology list.

Contract rate range: $70-$115/hour USD.

We are building relationships ahead of anticipated contract awards. Some opportunities may begin quickly after an award; others may take time or never arrive. We want to know excellent people before the need becomes urgent.
