Junior Software Engineer – Full Stack / AI

We're an early-stage AI startup building AI Copilots and Computer Vision solutions for enterprise clients. Our products run on both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, helping enterprises automate workflows and work smarter with their own data.

We're a small team, which means you'll work on real products from day one, see your code deployed at actual customers, and learn far more than you would in a large company.

About the role

This is a hands-on engineering role that combines development with client-facing work. You'll start by building our products with the core team, and over time take ownership of deploying and supporting them directly with our enterprise customers, including working on-site at client locations.

What you'll do

• Build AI Copilot applications using LLMs, RAG and document processing
• Develop backend APIs (FastAPI) and frontend components (React)
• Work with databases and integrate software components
• Test, debug and improve our products
• Deploy, configure and integrate our software at customer sites, on cloud and on-premises
• Be the technical point of contact for customers: understand their issues, troubleshoot problems and communicate solutions clearly

What we're looking for

• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Python, FastAPI, JavaScript/React, SQL/PostgreSQL, REST APIs and Git
• Comfort working on Linux and the command line
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to work directly with customers
• Genuine interest in building real-world AI products

Good to have

• Docker
• Experience with Ollama or locally hosted LLMs
• Personal projects involving LLMs or RAG

• Comfortable working on-site at client locations when required
• Based in or willing to work from Bengaluru initially (for the first 2–3 months), and willing to relocate to Chennai later

Compensation

Up to ₹3 LPA, based on skills and assessment.
