Data Engineer / Manual QA Tester

Seeking a Data Engineer / Manual QA Tester to support Forecasting, Allocation and Replenishment (FAR) and Core Merchandising systems. This role focuses on data integrity, system testing and validating data flows across retail, inventory and supply chain systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
• Validate forecasting, allocation, replenishment and inventory data.
• Test merchandising functions including pricing, item setup, purchase orders and promotions.
• Maintain and validate data flows between merchandising, warehouse and POS systems.
• Use AI tools to analyze, cleanse and validate data.
• Identify, document and track defects.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and business users.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of manual QA testing experience.
• Experience with retail merchandising, forecasting, replenishment or supply chain systems.
• Basic SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or similar.
• Knowledge of data quality and integrity.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Retail, SAP or Blue Yonder experience.
• Excel, Power BI or other data analysis tools.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• ISTQB certification.
