Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced OCI Architect to lead the design, development and integration of secure cloud architecture within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. This role focuses on building new architectural features into existing cloud infrastructure while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.

The selected candidate will provide technical leadership, apply cybersecurity standards to OCI architecture, and deliver complex, end-to-end enterprise solutions that meet current and future capability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development and integration of new cloud architectural features into existing OCI infrastructure.
• Maintain the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.
• Lead multi-disciplined teams in designing and implementing the cybersecurity system architecture.
• Apply cybersecurity standards, directives, guidance and policies to the OCI architectural framework.
• Compile industry best practices and lessons learned into future iterations and new designs for the cloud hosting environment.
• Provide expertise across the systems engineering lifecycle, with a focus on cybersecurity initiatives in cloud architecture design and development.
• Resolve cloud architecture implementation issues during integration and testing.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders on solution-related activities.
• Develop and deliver end-to-end, complex, enterprise-level cloud solutions that meet current and future capability requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, cybersecurity or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience in enterprise cloud system design, integration and secure implementation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams on security-focused initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise-level OCI solutions.
• Knowledge of OCI security services such as IAM, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault and network security.
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards and regulations.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Certifications:

• IAT Level II required; IAT Level III required for security-focused personnel.
• One or more cloud certifications required (OCI certification preferred, such as OCI Architect Associate or Professional).
