The Role: Protectors of the Creative Flow

Great art requires chaos in the imagination and order in the filing cabinet. Right now, our Founder is spending valuable creative bandwidth on day-to-day administrative friction.

We are looking for a sharp, hyper-organized, and reliable In-Person Administrative Assistant for a focused 8 Hrs/month or 2-hour weekly sprint. Your mission is simple: step into the studio once a week, take the administrative weight off the Founder’s shoulders, bring order to the physical and digital workspace, and leave the studio running like a finely tuned sitar.

This is an ideal micro-role for a local university/college student, a neighborhood freelancer, or an organized professional who lives nearby and wants a steady, low-stress, high-impact weekly gig in a vibrant creative environment.

What You Will Do (Your 2-Hour Weekly Sprint)

Instead of vague busywork, your weekly 2-hour session will focus on high-leverage support:

• Shopify: Organize the shopify store and create whatever documents that may be needed.
• Physical Studio & Document Organization: Sort incoming mail, file physical documents, label equipment/cables or inventory supplies across our creative spaces, and ensure the Founder’s desk isn't buried under a mountain of brilliant-but-unfiled notes.
• Inbox & Calendar Triage: Help review flagged emails, schedule upcoming meetings or studio bookings, and follow up on pending vendor/supplier communications.
• Note Digitization: Take the Founder’s handwritten whiteboard brainstorms, sketches, or meeting notes and transcribe them neatly into organized digital docs/spreadsheets.
• Light Studio Errands & Prep: Occasional quick local runs (e.g., post office, printing, studio supplies) or prepping the space for upcoming creative sessions. [Car required with a valid drivers license and insurance]

Who You Are

Hyper-Organized & Self-Directed: You don’t need 45 minutes of instructions to do 75 minutes of work. Once you learn the system, you can walk in, spot what needs doing, execute the weekly checklist, and check in with the Founder for 10 minutes of priority tasks.

• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating Mac/PC environments, Google Workspace, basic spreadsheets, and calendar tools without breaking a sweat.
• Discreet & Trustworthy: You will be working around confidential creative IP, business ventures, and studio prototypes. Integrity and confidentiality are non-negotiable.
• Local to the Studio: Because this is a 8 hours/month or 2-hour/week in-person role, we strongly prefer candidates who live, study, or work within a short commute of Stittsville.
