Pay rate: $75 – $85/hr on W2
Location: 100% Remote (US West or Central Time)
Duration: 12 Months
Engagement: W2 contract
Work authorization: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD
Client: Leading US food delivery platform (name confidential until shortlisting - standard US staffing practice)

What you will do:

Define and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets.
Automate incident response playbooks and drive post-mortem root-cause analysis (RCA) meetings.
Execute chaos engineering experiments to harden production clusters against traffic spikes.

What you will bring:

5+ years in SRE or Systems/DevOps roles managing 24/7 web-scale platforms.
Strong programming/scripting abilities in Python, Go, or Bash.
Production administration of Kubernetes (EKS), service meshes (Istio/Envoy), and multi-cloud networking.
Deep observability expertise with Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and PagerDuty.
