Introducing Thunder
Thunder is building AI agents for B2B growth, starting with paid ads. Our platform gives growth marketers the same 100x leverage that engineers are getting from tools like Claude Code and Codex.
Rather than sell another piece of software into an already fragmented stack, Thunder sells the entire outcome. Customers give us responsibility for their paid channels, and we use our software to own strategy, execution, and results. This creates a tight feedback loop for improving our agents: whenever we encounter a recurring workflow, we look for a way to automate it and operationalize it across customers.
Team and traction
Thunder raised a pre-seed in late 2025 and is backed by early leaders at OpenAI and HubSpot. We're live with paying customers, from high-growth Series A–C companies to larger enterprises, and are using our product to run their paid channels end to end.
We're second-time founders. Between us we've previously sold an AI startup, built the core ad infrastructure at LinkedIn, led product and growth for BuzzFeed Quizzes, and deployed AI agents at F500 companies.
About this role
You'll help execute Thunder's own marketing across content, outbound, marketing operations, paid media, and events.
This is a hands-on role that moves across research, creative work, and operational detail. Projects may include:
- Drafting and refining LinkedIn content and blog posts, and helping collect photo and video material.
- Researching audiences, maintaining outbound campaigns, and improving email and LinkedIn sequences.
- Maintaining CRM data and building useful marketing automations.
- Preparing and promoting webinars and local events, and researching speaking opportunities.
- Supporting paid campaigns and testing new marketing channels.
You'll carry out your work through AI, including Codex and Claude Code. You must already use these tools for real projects. You'll direct the agents, check their sources and results, debug problems, and refine their output.
You'll work closely with the founders, who provide strategy, priorities, supervision, and regular feedback. As you work, you'll notice what repeats, suggest better ways to do it, and help turn those lessons into useful workflows.
What we're looking for
We're looking for a current college student who is curious about marketing, takes initiative, and wants to learn through real work. Your evidence can come from internships, student organizations, personal projects, or previous work.
- You follow through on the work you take on.
- You write clearly and communicate well with teammates.
- You enjoy creative work and research, and learn quickly.
- You bring ideas, take feedback well, and apply what you learn.
- You already use Codex or Claude Code to complete real projects and can show what you've produced.
- You can work in person in NYC for 2–3 days per week, totaling approximately 15–20 hours.
Nice to have
- Experience with B2B marketing, content, outbound, or events.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, CRM tools, or SEO.
Schedule
We'll agree working blocks around your classes, along with exam and holiday availability. The target start is November 2026, flexible by agreement, with an initial term through April 30, 2027.
How to apply
Submit your resume and one example of a real project you completed using Codex or Claude Code. A link or a short, redacted walkthrough is fine. Briefly explain:
- What you built or improved, and what you personally owned.
- How you used the agent and checked the result.
- One thing that failed and how you fixed it.
Also include your expected graduation date, earliest start date, and available working days and hours in NYC.
