next-generation unified seller platform, integrating major marketplaces,
payment gateways, logistics systems and analytics tools into a single dashboard.
We build scalable SaaS products that simplify digital commerce for small and
medium businesses across India.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our core technology team and
take ownership of features end to end — from database and API through to the
interfaces our sellers use every day.
This is a build role at a product company, not a services or maintenance role.
You will work directly on the platform, ship features that go live to real sellers,
and see the impact of your work in production quickly. The team is small, so the
scope is wide and the ownership is real.
We are specifically looking for someone who wants to build here over several
years rather than treat this as a stepping stone. As the platform scales, the people
who joined early and understood it deeply will lead the teams that come after
them.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
●Design, build and maintain backend services, APIs and business logic for
the UniSouk platform
● Build and maintain integrations with marketplaces, payment gateways,
logistics providers and analytics tools
● Design database schemas, write efficient queries and manage data models
as the platform grows
● Handle authentication, authorisation and role-based access across the
application
● Write services that handle scale reliably — queues, scheduled jobs, rate
limits and third-party API failures

Frontend Development
● Build responsive, performant interfaces for the seller dashboard
● Translate designs and product requirements into clean, maintainable
components
● Manage application state, data fetching and error handling on the client
● Ensure consistent behaviour across browsers and screen sizes

Platform & Deployment
● Deploy and maintain applications on AWS and CloudFlare.
● Work with CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub and GitHub Actions
● Monitor application health, investigate production issues and resolve
them promptly
● Contribute to performance optimisation, logging and observability

Code Quality & Collaboration
● Write clean, documented, testable code and participate in code reviews
● Maintain technical documentation for the systems you build
● Work with the product and operations teams to translate requirements into
technical solutions
● Track your work on Zoho Projects, keeping task status and timelines
current.
Support and guide junior developers and interns as the team grows

Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
● 2–4 years of hands-on full stack development experience
● Strong proficiency in [Node.js /Nest.js] for backend development
● Strong proficiency in [React.js / Next.js] for frontend development
● Solid working knowledge of [PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB] including schema design and query optimisation
● Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, and integrating
third-party services
● Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
● Familiarity with AWS deployment and cloud infrastructure basics
● Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to debug unfamiliar
systems
● Able to work on-site in Surat full-time

Good to Have
● Experience building or integrating with e-commerce marketplace APIs (Amazon SP-API, Flipkart, Shopify)
● Experience with payment gateway or logistics API integrations
● Exposure to TypeScript, Docker, Redis or message queues
● Experience in a product or SaaS company rather than services only
● Prior startup experience, with comfort in a fast-moving, broad-scope
environment
● Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI,
Anthropic) into web applications

Who This Role Suits

This role will suit you if you want depth rather than variety — to know one
product thoroughly, own significant parts of it, and grow with it as it scales. It
will suit you less if you prefer narrowly defined tickets or want to switch roles
every twelve months.
Expect release periods to be demanding, with occasional availability needed
outside normal hours when something breaks in production. In return, you get
genuine ownership, direct access to the founders, and a say in technical
decisions from early on.

We welcome applications from candidates outside Surat and outside Gujarat.
Please note that this is a fully on-site role in Surat.
-Candidates applying from outside the city should be prepared to relocate independently and join on-site from day one.
We would rather be clear about this upfront than have it come up late in the
process.
