Overview

The Office of the Chief Economist is a group of economists, data scientists, analysts, and engineers whose work informs decisions across Microsoft’s largest businesses. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong quantitative and programming skills to turn complex, ambiguous business questions into actionable recommendations for business and product organizations across Microsoft. • Define and maintain shared metrics, measures, and business logic to ensure consistent, trusted reporting across Power BI products.
  • Design impact evaluations, including hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, and interpretation of results.
  • Build reusable analytical tools and data products that enable repeatable decision-making and reduce manual analysis.

  • Embody our Culture  & Values.
