About Infi Robotics

Infi’s mission is to unlock physical abundance and reindustrialize America by building the Universal Factory: a fully autonomous, general-purpose factory that can turn any design into a finished product.

We are a robotics-native contract manufacturer helping hardware companies scale from prototype to production at our factory in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our initial focus is automated assembly for robots, drones, and other intelligent hardware.

The role

Build the AI agents and software that connect customers, engineers, and the factory floor. You’ll own products and internal tools from idea to deployment, including the customer portal, customer-facing agents, and automation for day-to-day factory operations.

What you’ll do

• Build customer-facing software and agents for project intake, requirements, questions, and production visibility.
• Automate internal workflows around bills of materials, sourcing, work instructions, scheduling, quality records, and exceptions.
• Build the underlying interfaces, backend services, data models, and integrations that make these workflows useful and dependable.
• Develop agent evaluations, monitoring, permissions, and human review where needed. Work directly with users to decide what to automate and improve it through real use.

What you’ll bring

Strong generalist software engineering skills and experience shipping products people rely on. You should be comfortable across frontend, backend, data, and ML systems. Hands-on experience building AI agents and familiarity with modern AI/ML workflows, including model selection, tool use, evaluations, failure handling, and improving quality, reliability, latency, and cost.
