About the Opportunity
We are Skill Turtle, a specialized tech talent partner connecting elite problem solvers directly with high-growth tech teams. We are currently hiring on behalf of Chalo, India's #1 bus transport technology company. Chalo is solving real-world mobility challenges across 65 cities, powering 4 billion rides annually, and revolutionizing the daily commute with contactless digital tickets, payment suites, and live tracking.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and optimize Chalo's core Android application for scale and offline-first capabilities.
• Develop modern UI components using Jetpack Compose alongside traditional view-based approaches.
• Implement Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI design patterns, and dependency injection (Dagger/Hilt).
• Manage local databases (SQLite/Room) and asynchronous programming (Coroutines/Flows).
• Ensure applications are crash-free, performant, and responsive across various network environments.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and logical problem-solving.
• Hands-on expertise in the Android SDK, Kotlin, and Jetpack components.
• Experience with REST APIs, offline caching, JSON/Protobuf parsing, and secure data handling.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of feature delivery from design to a stable release.

Compensation:

• 0–1 YOE: 18-20 LPA Base
• 1.5+ YOE: 25-28 LPA Base + ESOPs
