Position Overview

The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth within their assigned territory out of our Austin, TX branch. Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, this role oversees projects from initial opportunity and estimating through execution and completion, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction throughout the process. The Project Manager works closely with clients, field operations, and branch leadership to identify opportunities, secure profitable work, and support the branch's growth objectives. Success in this role requires strong business development, relationship management, project management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, project managers, and key decision-makers
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for concrete cutting, core drilling, GPR scanning, and related specialty services
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and service recommendations that meet customer needs while achieving company profitability goals
• Manage the sales process from initial customer contact through project award and completion
• Coordinate closely with branch operations and field teams to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations
• Follow up on bids and maintain a strong sales pipeline
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
• Conduct job site visits, customer meetings, and project reviews to strengthen client relationships and identify additional opportunities
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade associations to promote services and expand market presence

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in construction or related field (concrete cutting experience a plus)
• 2+ years site service underground excavation experience required
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and job site operations
• Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel locally
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork
