.Net Backend Developer

Overview

We are seeking a .Net Backend Developer to assist our talented and motivated team of engineers in our development efforts and on-going production operations. This role will serve as an integral team member in identifying, designing, building, and supporting backend services. This role will work with the platform team to complete development stories based on business requirements.

Essential job functions

· Work with platform team members and leads to identify and complete development tasks to meet project requirements

· Troubleshoot any new or existing issues and help improve existing systems

· Help lead efforts to research and implement new technologies to improve software products

· Adherence to company's information security standards, as outlined in company policies and procedures.

· Other duties as assigned

Basic Skills Required

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field

· 5+ years as .Net Core Engineer professional experience

· Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs

· Familiar with microservice architecture, bounded context, domain driven design

· Experience using Entity Framework Core

· Experience working in Azure/Azure DevOps (or other cloud provider)

Nice to Have

· Experience working with Docker / Kubernetes

· Experience working with identity management solutions

· Experience working with Event Hub/Messaging broker on platforms like Kafka
