Business Development Specialist

Acumen Agency is a growing startup and international professional services company providing consulting, marketing, HR, technology, business development, and other professional services to businesses, organizations, institutions, and government clients.

This is initially a performance-based independent contractor opportunity, with the intention of transitioning successful candidates to salaried positions as soon as financially feasible.

We are looking for a confident, entrepreneurial, and results-driven individual to help expand our client base and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across domestic and international markets
• Prospect potential clients, engage decision-makers, and develop business relationships
• Present Acumen Agency's services, negotiate opportunities, and close sales
• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business and growth

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, business development, or client acquisition is an asset
• Ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and take initiative
• Existing industry contacts, international market knowledge, or multilingual skills are advantageous
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to contribute to a growing startup

Compensation & Growth

• Initially an independent contractor role with performance-based compensation
• Commission is calculated as an agreed percentage of the profit generated by each sale
